A Lenten “To-Do” List

by William Cowles

Looking for a good way to observe Lent with a group -- family or friends or your church? Here’s a great “Lenten To-Do” list by Pastor Nadia Bolz-Weber, an ordained Lutheran pastor who started a church in the Denver area called House for All Sinners and Saints.

Thanks to Pastor Russell Brown, Heritage UMC, Overland Park, KS, for first finding and posting this Lenten gem that helps us “do more” instead of the usual “do less.”

Yes, it’s nearly a week late, but you can always combine a few things to get started. The important thing is to get started, and to stick with it throughout the 40 days as a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifices for us.
